Magic is by definition something that defies the laws of nature. Some Scientists say that magic does not exist and if it did, they would be using it. BUT, what if they already are? Many fear what they cannot control (even though control is an illusion - just saying) and therefore dismiss the possibility of magic. Yet you put a label on it and research it, and it suddenly becomes no longer magic! Quantum Physics is an example of this. Quantum Physics is the study of energy - something so intangible and immaterial while being one of the most powerful forces.
Most things in life come down to perception. I am someone who believes in magic and chooses to believe that we are all magical.

Three hundred years later, Sabina is about to face her rite of passage, the Birth Challenge, into adulthood to discover if she has any supernatural abilities, when she learns her father, Brom, has been lying to her all her life. What is he hiding? Why has he been lying to her? And will the Birth Challenge reveal Sabina has any supernatural powers?
As the world searches for the prophesied Agni, the one who is said to possess all supernatural abilities, Brom deserts Sabina on one of the most important days of her life, but not before telling her he expects her to meet a list of potential suitors.
