Episode 40 of the Goin' to Work podcast is here and it kicks off with the news every Detroit Lions fan has been waiting for. The GTW boys do a dive into the firing of Matt Patricia and General Manager Bob Quinn. The "Things Worse than being a Lions Fan" segment made another appearance this week because of the Lions blowout loss to the Texans on Thanksgiving Day. Mel Tucker and the Michigan State Spartans took down #8 Northwestern in great fashion, while Michigan suffered another brutal loss to an 0-5 Penn State team. College Basketball kicked off this week and the Spartans and Wolverines took care of business week 1 and find themselves 2-0 on the year.  The "Fab 5" segment pays homage to all the terrible coaches in recent Detroit history. The show wraps up with our weekly shoutouts to our Motown Sportz DK league.
