Marcella has always been an artist & foodie. With a double major in Studio Art and Cultural Anthropology under her belt, it is easy to see how her background was a springboard for journaling and cooking in countless private home kitchens throughout Latin America.
Her cooking adventures led her to start a Kickstarter campaign which allowed her to assemble her large archive of recipes and illustrations into her hand drawn colorful cookbooks, Mi Comida Latina and Comida Cubana.
