Steve Bechard has fished in national tournaments throughout the United States and has spent a lot of his spare time fishing streams in the Catskills, Adirondacks and the tributaries of the Great Lakes. He now fishes the east end of Long Island for stripers, bluefish and false albacore and is a guide and casting instructor. Over a decade ago, Steve and his business partner Koby Fulks started Rise Fishing Company setting out to make the perfect fly rods for anyone of any skill, chasing different species. Rise Fishing Company also organizes destination trips to remote locations for a week of unforgettable fishing.
