In light of the recent passing of Charles Stanley, our focus today is to draw on his legacy and the other great influencers of his generation to motivate us, this generation, to rise up and be the influencers/difference makers our world needs us to be. We reference two Bible passages today. Joshua 24:31, “Israel served the Lord throughout the lifetime of Joshua and of the elders who outlived him and who had experienced everything the Lord had done for Israel.” And, Psalm 90:16,17, “May your deeds be shown to your servants, your splendor to their children. May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us - yes, establish the work of our hands.”
