William Castle always new that the hoopla surrounding a movie was as big a part of the experience as the movie itself. This time around, we take a look at 1959's The Tingler, a film that introduced the world to the wonders of Percepto that had the added bonus of Vincent Price absolutely dripping with ham. Then, 1993's Matinee! is a loving callback to a simpler time when the looming threat of thermonuclear annihilation could be staved off with monster movies presented by a carnival showman.
