Wayne speaks of himself as a once proud father and patriotic Army soldier who had spent his teenage years consumed by anger and later suffered with bipolar and borderline personality disorders, which almost resulted in suicide. A last-chance decision to face the realities of chronic homelessness, divorce, bad parenting, major drug use and the underlying effects of his mental health crisis led to a path of total sobriety and an end to life on the streets. Once he decided that his story wasn’t over, his desire to win back lost relationships and repair lost opportunities put him on a journey of overcoming and growth that is intriguing due to the unusual experiences he encountered. These days, he has learned to forgive himself, is happily re-married, recently purchased a brick home with three acres of land and is a semi-truck driver traveling the long and winding roads of America.Contact Us: Email: [email protected]: @brushcreekthriversFacebook: From Survivor to Thriver4.6
