The tale begins, Look movies, with a glimpse of Tell preparing for his iconic shot, then rewinds three days to provide some essential background. Set in 1307, Tell is out hunting with his son when a band of Austrian soldiers and tax collectors storms a nearby town nestled in the Swiss mountains. The situation escalates when their leader, Gov. Wolfshot, commits a horrific act against a local woman. In the aftermath, her husband returns to seek vengeance, killing Wolfshot before escaping as the militia sets the village ablaze. True to his honorable nature, Tell assists the villager, Baumgarten, in his escape. Meanwhile, the cunning Austrian King Albrecht, portrayed by the menacing Ben Kingsley, plots to exert control over the Swiss people from within.
