President Joe Biden comes through with one of his bigger campaigns promises to have the United States rejoin the WHO. By executive order, Biden reverses his predecessor’s action of withdrawal from the WHO. Joe Biden believes that rejoining the organization is the best move for the country, despite the controversies brought up by President Trump last year.

Biden’s recommitment to the WHO is a step further for his plans of reestablishing American global leadership, the belief that we must lead the world because it best suits our interests and the international community’s interests.
