Secret #15: Webinar Funnels
If you’ve attended webinars before, you would have noticed the real pros have already prerecorded their presentation. Their webinars may be closing offers in the $1000-4000 range, and it’s happening like clockwork. Just imagine if this was done manually - no salesman can ever keep up in the long run.
Learning how to sell online is probably one of the greatest skillsets anyone can have in today’s world to be financially confident. In Secret #22, which will be live exactly 1 week from now, I will share with you what Russell calls “The Perfect Webinar” script.
But for now, let’s get into the technical details of a Webinar Funnel.
On Page 1, this is your registration page. If your YouTube ad has done most of the heavy lifting, you don’t actually need a fancy video reiterating your message. All you need is the form for your audience to enter their name and email. If you haven’t you’ll need a really attractive headline that inspires curiosity, something that raises a lot of questions but gives no answers. Something like “How to make $15,783 per day passively while travelling the world”. If you want to nurture and build up suspense for your audience, you can send them to a Soap Opera follow-up sequence. If not, make sure the 1-2 emails you send them before the webinar is sufficient to warm them up.
Page 2 is your thank you page. This is where you thank your audience for signing up, and then tell them what to do next. You can say that since this is a live event, it’s best to bring a pen and paper, block out your calendar for the event, and turn off your phone notifications.
Page 3 is your webinar room. This is where you’ll present your offer to your audience. It usually is about 45 mins to 2.5 hrs in length. At the end of the webinar, you should have an order button which takes them to the next page
Page 4 is your order form page. Summarise what they’re going to get if they make the purchase today. This is also where you can include upsells, and links to your other funnels as well.
Page 5 will be your replay page. Regardless of how hungry your audience is for your offer, there will always be a percentage of people who don’t show up. Usually that number is 80%. To get them back and view the presentation, send an email saying that there’s a 48- or 72-hour time limit on the replay page. The element of urgency will get your audience to come back and view your presentation.
So that’s it for Secret #41: Webinar Funnels. If you got tons of value from just this one episode, you could get so much more with the full original copy of the DotCom Secrets book.
