In this episode we discuss the topic of 'Death'. In particular we try to focus on the psychology of how humans (including us Mere Mortals) approach the subject. This takes us down the path of the afterlife and why religion seems to have systems and the language in place to help those dealing with grief or the loss of a loved one. We also talk about how much we personally think about death in our daily lives and whether there is any anxiety or fear lurking in the background (or foreground). Finally we finish off with some discussion about what awaits beyond this life before ending on a lighter note of the Darwin Awards and some silly ways people have taken themselves out of the gene pool.
