Parenting can be very difficult sometimes. It can be hard to always try to present your best to your kids or show up for them even in times when it is not convenient.
Parenting a kid with special needs though takes things to another level of difficulty. Every parent wants their kid to be healthy and happy, but what happens when something unexpected happens along your parenting journey? Parenting a special needs child can be extremely challenging at times and sometimes you may not feel supported or understood by the people surrounding you. On this episode we talk through our journey as a family, and we talk to those parents and families who need support. We also talk to those people who don't know anyone with special needs and our hope is to bring a new level of compassion to you for those families.
