Having grown up in an abusive environment, Joey has been a survivor from a young age. As an adult, she is tasked with caring for her autistic brother, Michael, who has just been removed from another group home, creating a situation where Joey cannot provide the necessary care right away. She arrives late to her job as a window washer on a skyscraper, reaching the Agnian Energy headquarters, where the executive team is busy organizing a shareholder gala to present their latest greenwashing message. Derek, her boss, is prepared to require her to work late into the night to compensate for her lateness. While Michael waits in the vicinity, Joey works diligently to complete her tasks at great heights.
