Lars Jacobson, the screenwriter of "Novocaine lookmovie," presents Nathan Caine, a kind assistant manager at a credit union who has a special secret.  Due to a congenital disorder that prevents him from feeling pain, he must live a very tight schedule and with great prudence.  His entire world shifts when Sherry, a worker who is keen to get to know her employer, shows there.  A date results from their banter, and Nathan gets a taste of love when Sherry accepts his physical condition.  But the peace is broken during an afternoon shift when Simon, Andre, and Ben, three bank robbers, take over the building in an attempt to steal money. They take Sherry hostage as their scheme goes awry.
