Murdo Fraser MSP will discuss the life and times of Archibald Campbell, Marquess of Argyll, and his rivalry with James Graham, Marquess of Montrose. 

Hear about the coincidental similarities between the two men, but also their great differences. Also, Alison Diamond, archivist for the current Duke and Duchess of Argyll (Argyll Estates) joins me  to discuss Inveraray Castle today, some snippets of their archives relating to the Marquess of Argyll, and what they tell us about Archibald and his wife, Margaret.
