On October 22, 1989, 11-year-old Jacob Wetterling, along with his 10-year-old brother Trevor and 10-year-old friend Aaron, rode their bikes to the convenience store not far from the Wetterling home. On the way back to their home, a masked man stopped the boys. Trevor and Aaron were told to run home, but Jacob wasn’t so lucky.
