The Zombie in us is being cannibalized by the matrix machine. Our inability to touch what is truly real in the form of the mine causes us to want to consume brain matter, even though we don't truly have the ability to understand or be revitalized by it.

Take away points:

The zombie moves in her bike mentality and often even brushes against fellow zombies but, never makes a true connection.

We are in a room full of people but unable to make a connection.

Zombification occurs when we are holding on to grief and have been to it into a catatonic state that we are unable or unwilling to come out of because of our inability to detach.
