American Me is the tale of Montoya Santana, a young man who is raised by the prison system and his struggles trying to assimilate back into normal life after his sentence is up. From a small street gang to the largest gang in prison, can Montoya find a balance and some normalcy? Or is he doomed to repeat the same mistakes that landed him in prison in the first place?
