On this week's episode hosts Cassie and Daniel discuss the panicked set up for this week's episode while Matthew is out of town.  Daniel tells Cassie about how fall has officially hit DC, allowing him to be able to wear his lovely green vest.  Daniel also tells Cassie about his trip to Rock Creek Park for a hike; Cassie recounts a story about the time she and Matthew got lost on a hike in Rock Creek Park.  Daniel tells Cassie about his post hike bar crawl and how he serendipitously ran into someone he had been talking to for a bit.  Cassie gives Daniel an update on how she is surviving food wise while Matthew is away and how she burned a serving of dino nuggets.  Cassie defends dino nuggets as an acceptable meal while Daniel pokes fun at her.

The hosts celebrate National Zinfandel Day by cracking open two different kinds of Zinfandel's.

Cassie heads to the cold north of Minnesota for the chilling case of the self defense murders while Daniel heads back in time for the historic crimes of the Pilgrims.
