European standards are written in the same way as national standards. Participation in European standards development is arranged by the National Standards Body of each country via their membership of their European counterparts, the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC).
In this episode we hear from Elena Santiago Cid, Director General of CEN and CENELEC, about the history, role and impact of these two standards organizations.
