Wardrobe Supervisor Kristen Martin says that she prefers the more shop-oriented facets of costuming, and dosn't actually care much for the design elements. I, on the other hand, don't really know what any of that means.

But Kristen sat me down at her apartment to talk about the pros and cons of freelancing, how to maintain quality despite the size of your budget, and how to force a teenager down an unexpected career path.

Kristen is working with Childsplay on their next production, The Snowy Day, which runs Jan 21-Mar 11.

Childsplay will then wrap up their season with Maddi's Fridge Mar 31-Apr 8 and Flora & Ulysses Apr 22-May 20
