Today's episode is an adventure through blood-soaked dungeons, haunted swamps, warped hellscapes and even TIIIIIIIME itself! We dip into the Legacy of Kain series with its first entry, Blood Omen from 1996.

The story follows a young knight named Kain, who almost instantly is murdered. He takes a deal with a sinister necromancer to return to life as a vampire and seek his revenge. But Kain very quickly finds a far greater destiny waiting for him, and stumbles into a lengthy quest to save the world, through violence! Can Kain succeed at saving the land of Nosgoth and freeing himself from his vampire curse? Or will sinister forces conspire against him?

Well, there's four more games in this series, so his chances look pretty good.
