Mariam is an original Musoga from Kaliro. She contested the 2021 parliamentary election as an independent for Kaliro woman Member of Parliament.  In this conversation, we talk about whether the affirmative action that allows women-only political positions like woman MP is still a relevant solution to gender inequality in Uganda.
