Amy Lowrey says she is what you'd call an accidental potter! Until the Spring of 2019, she’d spent her entire adult work life in the non-profit/ministry sector. She helped marginalized students gain access to funding for college, built homes for families in Mexico for 10 years, and traveled to 40+ countries taking supplies for school children.
In 2015 she decided to take a pottery class. Surprisingly, she fell in love with it. Deeply, head over heels in love with it. It's been a funny and unexpected journey. Now Amy is a full time potter with a studio where she teaches others and creates incredible pieces for sale. You can find her work and more info at Tiny Hands Pottery.
