Cross Border Interviews

Episode 439 - Winslow Swan

Listen Later

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Swan was always interested in fear and horror. He grew up on a dose of tv shows like Night Gallery and Darkroom as well as The CBS Radio Mystery Theater. His favorite directors were (and still are) Hitchcock, DePalma, Carpenter, and William Castle.
Swan worked in broadcasting starting at the age of 16. Graduating High School he went to join the circus for one season, returning to broadcasting where he announced, wrote and produced commercials.
Swan has called himself the most famous person that no one has ever heard of with tongue in cheek. Dabbling in television, movies, and the stage, he claims to have fulfilled most of his childhood dreams.
He did not write his first novel until 2007 and it took four years to complete. Since then, he has written 18 and continues to write.
Winslow Swan currently lives in the North Georgia Mountains with his five dogs.
