Listen Later

On March 13, 2020, officers executed a "no-knock" search warrant at Breonna Taylor’s home in Louisville, Kentucky. In the resulting raid, Taylor was shot and killed in her hallway. Her boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, fired once, striking an officer, prompting return fire by officers. The drug search warrant ultimately yielded no evidence of drugs.

This case has sparked continued debate over whether justice was fully served and renewed attention on systemic policing reforms.
