Former captain Chase Wouters continues to carve out an impressive hockey career as he begins his next chapter with the Vancouver Canucks organization. The career-Blade, who graduated from the WHL last season, has linked up with the Abbotsford Canucks for training camp after playing one NHL preseason game for Vancouver. He signed his first professional contract in July, three months after playing his final game in a Blades uniform. Today, Wouters lives in Abbotsford and is attending his first American Hockey League training camp.
