Happy New Year! How many times have you heard "New Year, New Me" already this year or in the past?
It’s such a common phrase that is said with good intentions but never seems to actually get accomplished.
How can we expect ourselves to make such big changes just because the date becomes January 1? It’s a very interesting concept we’ve created.
And, it’s capitalized on more than any other day of the year by large corporations that don’t actually want you to succeed.
Now, you know we’re all about self-improvement, becoming the highest version of ourselves, learning, growing, and change. But these things are a life-long process, not something that can be accomplished in one day.
When we put so much pressure on ourselves to turn everything around once the clock strikes midnight, we’re setting ourselves up for failure. This is why so many people have the same intention every single new year.
If this is you, it’s okay. We’ve all been there. Today we’re discussing how we can break free from the “New Year, New Me” cycle and take steps to reach our fullest potential every day of the year.
