Episode 44 – Service Delivery Partnership Plan

In Episode 44, Tim Nagle invites Workplace Relations Consultant, Emma Scott to discuss the topic of the Service Delivery Partnership Plan, otherwise known as the SDPP. The SDPP starts with the Government’s current wage policy in relation to enterprise agreements. The policy says that the first 2.5% per annum will be assured to the parties in the agreement, but they have the opportunity for higher wage increases. The first 0.5% above the 2.5% is the SDPP, and its reliant on the people entering into such a plan. People can get outcomes in excess of 2.5%. The “partnership approach” is fundamentally based on the existence of shared goals between employers and employees, and that is to increase productivity over the life of the agreement.
