In July of 2007 I put out an Independence Day show using the
patriotic songs the Voices of Liberty did during my trip in June of that
year, I knew at the time that I wanted to put the other songs from those
sets into some kind of a show, and here it FINALLY is!

The Voices of Liberty
These songs were all recorded on June 16 and 17 of 2007, if you would like
to see the original line up of the sets you can check
the lists of the sets in the trip report,

as the list here will be of the ones in the episode. The photos and song
lists for the sets are on pages 18,19,and 20 for the date of the 16th,
and the those related to the sets I heard on the 17th are on pages 32,
33, and 35...man I took a lot of pictures that trip!

Below: I don't have a perfect photo that caught the whole group on the 16th but this one
comes close, Krista was conducting this day.
Below: While on the 17th Dirk was conducting (one gentleman is not visable in
this veiw, but it was the closest I had to the whole group in one shot that day.
Ray had the the solo on Rockytop, Tennessee
(also on Black Is The Color Of My True Loves Hair)
Dirk, the conductor on sunday the 17th, ( pictured above
)did the solo on the version of Oh
Susanah that played in this episode, yet that was the only one of the three
soloists who did this song where I did not get a "Susanah picture" where the
soloist picks a lady out of the audience to be his Susanah, so here are
the other two.

actually I got TWO photos when Ray did his...
...it's too bad that the third shot didn't fire that would have been "the tug".
