On this week’s episode of Doc Talks, we sit down and chat with Amber Chiapetto.

 

Amber labels herself as a foster care survivor. He was adopted at a very young age by her mother’s adoptive mother. She recalls her childhood as being very strict, having to take care of her siblings.

 

At 14, she finds out her adoptive mother is giving her back and returning her into the foster care system. After a few foster homes and an enormous amount of mental and emotional abuse, she found her forever family.

 

We talk about life today and how the trauma she had as a child affects her today.
