Meet McClean:

With years of  tactical industry experience, as a soldier only being issued a generic  Single point or an adjustable 2 point sling introduce the Idea of a single point with a Built in Retention System. Delivering the versatility of a single point sling yet offering the ability to be retained as a 2 point sling with just a quick connection of our Patented Quick Release design. The McLean DRS is not your average 2-point to 1-point convertible sling. It is essentially a single point sling with much needed retention system built into it. Its ability to transition from a retained position to engaging targets is unmatched by any other sling on the market.

The Pro's of a single point sling is its ability to allow for dynamic movement with your rifle for CQC/CQB environments. Its great for switching shoulders, shooting under cars or around barricades and even simple things such as just combat reloads or transitioning to your secondary/pistol.
The Con's are when you want to be hands free from the rifle, because now it is free to bang around wherever it wants do it its single point of connection. Now this makes prisoner handling or even climbing a ladder difficult.

The Pro's of a 2 point sling is its ability to easily be retained for climbing ladders or prisoner handling. Even patrolling with a 2 point sling is easier because you don't have to maintain positive control of your rifle the entire time.
The Con's of a 2 point sling is you lose a lot of the dynamic mobility and freedom of movement that you would otherwise have with a single point sling, for example switching shoulders or even simple things such as combat reloads.
