Secret #19: “Who-What-Why-How” Script

I’m going to make this the most value-packed episode ever. Ready?

This is called the “Who-What-Why-How” Script.

You start with “Who” - you introduce your name and who you are

Then you say “What” - what offer do you have for your audience

Follow up with “Why” - why they need what you have. You can follow the PAS formula. Problem, Agitate, and Solve.

And finish with “How” - how can they get what you have and what do they have to do to get it.

While the above forms the meat of the script, you can finish off with 3 more sections:

The first is the catch: if something sounds too good to be true, you have to let your audience know if it is. If it is simply an amazing offer, just let them know that there’s no catch!

Next, is urgency and scarcity: include the real elements of urgency and scarcity into your offer to get people to take action.

Then, give a guarantee: reverse any risk in ordering the product.

Finally, remind them of what they’re getting and why.

This is the script that works in literally a million scenarios. You can sell almost anything with this script.

Let’s say I’m a tennis coach. I’ve never played tennis before but I’ll apply the “Who-What-Why-How” Script and let’s see what happens.
