episode 45 - does balance mean less fun?

This episode was inspired by a lyric in Adele's song, "I drink wine". In it, she talks about how you're supposed to find balance in sacrifice, but she doesn't know anyone who is truly satisfied. It made us think about what that means in our own lives. In today's epi we discuss:

  • To what extent the pursuit of balance is made harder in your 30 because of different expectations in your 30s?
  • Is fun as important as it used to be?
  • What are those expectations?
  • Are they self-imposed or societally-imposed?
  • Should you have to sacrifice anything to achieve balance, and if yes than what?
