Marcus Bowers is an AUTHOR, COMEDIAN, ENTREPRENEUR, and one of the co-founders of She’s Happy Hair, a multi-million dollar hair and hair-products business with multiple locations all over the U.S. A Houston native, engineer and Navy Veteran, Marcus earned a degree in Business Administration from The University Of Houston-Downtown. After enlisting into the United States Navy, just two weeks after graduating high school, he successfully served four years in Naval Special Forces as a (SWCC) Special Warfare Combatant Crewmen.

Marcus is very dedicated to his work and likes to remind us that he started She’s Happy Hair with an initial $900 investment, growing it into a multi-million dollar business without ever taking out a business loan. Marcus’ hard work continues, as he combines running a successful business, traveling to different countries and continents in search of products and imports while meeting face to face with overseas factory owners and decision makers, while also performing comedy routines, and bringing light to his non-profit, The She’s Happy Foundation, which helps troubled-teens realize their potential and build brighter futures.

He’s been featured on ABC, FOX news, and given the Houston Black Chamber Pinnacle Business Award, The 2019 Quest For Success Award, and recognized as one of the Top 50 Black Professionals And Entrepreneurs in the state of Texas.
