Episode 45 is a recording of a conversation that took place on June 16, 2022 between Deborah Anzinger and Simone Cambridge who at the time was the Curatorial and Art Writing Fellow at New Local Space. Through research Simone conducted during her fellowship at NLS she developed the exhibition titled, ‘it comes from the head: A Straw Heritage’, which will open at the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas in Nassau on September 19, 2024. Participating artists include Tamika Galanis, Anina Major, Jodi Minnis and Averia Wright. The exhibition is up until March 17, 2025.
