Prerequisites to getting on Nice Minds isn’t how many followers someone has, it isn’t how many records they’ve sold, it isn’t about how successful someone is with their art…it’s generally based on my opinion on the person and how they interact. Mark Schirmacher is not only a talented and seasoned musician but he’s also a great person who I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know a bit over Instagram over the last 6 months. I had to invite him on and get to know him a little more.

Mark is a multi-instrumentalist who puts singer/songwriter music out under his real name but also puts out instrumentals (generally in the lo-fi genre) under the name Low Key Trampoline.

In this episode we talk about Mark’s background with music, starting in the Lo-fi space as Low Key trampoline, open/vulnerable conversation about cancer, how cancer has affected both of our lives in different ways, music/life balance, and much more.
