In this episode I interview college student and feminist Kate Allred. Kate (17 years old) shares her experience watching those around her struggle with diet culture. She shares her story of having a mom who was not affected by diet culture and what a rare blessing that is in today’s world. I think you will look at the world a little differently after this interview and see more clearly how women can be suppressed in our society today by the desire and pressure to become the unattainable ideal.
