When Howard Carter broke the seal to Tutenkhamun's tomb, did he release an ancient curse, or did people just start dropping dead of natural causes? Grave robbing, or archaeology, as the toffs like to call it, was rife in Egypt in the 19th and 20th centuries, and Tutenkhamen's tomb was arguably the most important and richest discovery of all.
