The Book of Acts is chock full of people, events, and even expressions that are unique to that book. We explore ten notes from Acts that give us insight into some of these things. They include cloven tongues, Hellenistic Jews, the proverb “kick against the pricks,” Paul in Spain, and the Synagogue of Freedmen. What we learn from these notes is the power of the gospel as it spread throughout the world and transformed lives.
