After a month off from recording, I was finally ready today to sit back down and unpack some of the things going on in our country and in my world including taking a long, hard look at my own white privilege and how I'm working to change the thought patterns and behaviors I've long held about black people without even really realizing. I am learning, I am listening, I am willing to change. This is uncomfortable, this is complicated, but I'm not staying silent about my part it in and am thankful to have the opportunity to grow and change and help affect change.
