An Illinois lawyer is being charged with multiple ethics violations for, among other things, asking a divorce client if he can bite her butt.

2)  PAY IT FORWARD (Least Competent in a Legal Setting)

A Pennsylvania lawyer has been suspended in Pennsylvania and New Jersey for failing to provide legal services and then secretly paying the clients out of his own pocket for the losses they incurred.

3)  WIZARD OF OZ (Archie Bunker Award)

A Kansas lawyer was suspended for one year for using profanity and racially-insensitive language, such as referring to two African-American litigants as "boys."

4)  FORREST GUMP (Most Conflicted in an Adversarial Proceeding)

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is being nominated for a provisional Ethy Award for his apparent conflicts of interests due to the political activities of his wife, Ginni Thomas.
