Gail Simone is best known for her runs in DC's Birds of Prey, Wonder Woman, and the odyssey that was her Batgirl New 52 Run.

Simone's work includes Women in Refrigerators, a website she helped found in 1999 whose primary purpose was to identify all the female superheros who were traumatized to the sole benefit of furthering a male protagonist's plot.
