On this 47th episode of Good Timin’, we discuss Dennis Wilson’s first (and only) solo album from 1977, Pacific Ocean Blue. As usual with our album discussion episodes, we first cover some of the general history behind the record and talk about what led Dennis to pursue a solo career, and then we discuss each individual track on the album one by one and share our own thoughts and opinions on them. Lastly to wrap up, we cover some of the outtakes and extra material that Dennis recorded around the time, including tracks from his unfinished follow-up album, Bambu.
