Alexander Calder was an influential sculptor of his days. He accomplished plenty with his circus-themed and abstract wire mobiles. However, near the end of his life, he had encountered a peculiar altercation with the city of Pittsburg.  After his artwork was bought and donated, it was modified far beyond his original vision. It was until his death that the original piece was restored to its former glory. At least a part of it. On Exploring Art Podcast today, we explore the nature of intellectual property and discuss the life, as well as, the accomplishments of Alexander Calder.
