She’s joined by Foley partner, Larry Perlman, to discuss her path to Foley and her role as Director of Diversity & Inclusion. In the discussion, Alexis shares her experience growing up in the northern suburbs of Milwaukee and her decision to attend the American University and the University of Michigan Law School. She reflects on the years she spent practicing law as a commercial litigator and labor and employment attorney. She also discusses her decision to leave legal practice for a role as a legal recruiter, and subsequently as a diversity and inclusion professional. Finally, Alexis shares insights on the importance of curiosity and alignment in reaching professional fulfillment and satisfaction.
