Anger can be good fuel when focused on a worthy cause, or used to direct our energy towards making positive change. But what I’m seeing lately, is anger towards being different, acting differently, believing in different things, behaving differently, or thinking differently. We can’t even have a different opinion lately without collective anger being directed towards us.
In this conversation I am sharing what my own experience about this has been, how feeling so angry resulted in taking a month long hiatus, how I have been redirecting my anger, and what the impact of constantly being angry can have on us mentally, emotionally, attitudinally, and physically. As well as how it makes us treat each other.
This is not a stop being angry in 10 steps share. This is an open conversation where we explore what finding things to constantly be pissed off about means to us. Being okay that we might have more questions than answers right now. At the end, I share an anger self-assessment that can help you to contemplate and integrate this topic even deeper.
