Smith, playing juke joints in the 1960s, touring with 6 people and equipment in a station wagon, mud suckers, playing clubs with dirt floors with no electricity, befriending local gangsters in Fort Worth, bank robbing pills, juke joint horror stories, Freddy king sitting in with the band at Mother Blues in Dallas, etc.
