In today's episode I talk with Djamila Zangre. She is from Burkina Faso (West Africa). We discuss women's empowerment, Burkina Faso, and her career trajectory. Djamila is a model and airmen in the US Air Force.  Djamila's family came to the United States in 2009 when her father won the entry lottery. Djamila's mother was the first in generations to receive an advanced education, inspiring herself and others. Zangre also produces and sells her own skin line made with shea butter from Ougadougou a city in Burkina Faso. She joined me from North Dakota where she is currently stationed.
