So something strange happened on the way to posting the yuletide laced episode forty-eight. Ordinarily I give the entire recording a touch of post-production to clean up the sound and rhythm of the conversation. But for a few reasons, I have decided to leave the conversation in this episode largely untouched. There are a few cuts to be sure (mostly thanks to my neighbour who happened to be doing renovations during the show’s opening fifteen minutes), but by and large what you’re hearing is a live mic.
Thus there’s one or two more “Um’s” and “Y’know’s” than you’re used to hearing, but given that I’ve known this episode’s guest for a few years, I figured the energy would more than make up for the unpolished nature.
